Nederlands: Het voormalig gemaal aan de Sliedrechtse Binnenvliet werd in 1883 in eclectische stijl gebouwd naar ontwerp van H. Paul als een stoomschepradgemaal voor de bemaling van de polder Sliedrecht. In 1923-'24 vond de verbouwing tot dieselgemaal plaats, waarvan nog een centrifugaalpomp bewaard is gebleven. Het gemaal heeft dienst gedaan tot 1979.
