Description
Deutsch: Schäden durch den Blitzeinschlag in einen Maibaum. Dabei wurde der Maibaum erheblich beschädigt sowie dessen Betonfundament weggesprengt. Über eine Erdstromleitung ging der Blitz in das dahinterstehende Haus und beschädigte dabei die Gebäudeecke (genau im Schatten des Maibaum). Im Haus verschmorten die Elektroleitungen. Danach ging der Blitz in die Wasserrohre und brachte ein Rohr der öffentlichen Wasserversorgung zum Bersten, wodurch sich die Betondecke des Fußgängerweges mehrere Zentimeter anhob. Im umliegenden Gebiet kam es zu Stromausfällen.
English: Maypole damaged by lightning. The concrete base of the pole bursted while the lightning found its way into the house (see corner of the house in the shadow of the pole) causing major damage by melting the wires. Additionally one of the water pipes leading to the house bursted and caused heavy damage to the sidewalk surface.
