PHILIPPE DE VALOIS, et fes profusions obligeaient fans ceffe à recourir à des expédiens toujours ruineux, & à mettre de nouveaux impôts fur fes peuples, força le premier fes fumets à prendre du fel dans fes magasins. Avant ce Prince il y avoir bien quelques petits impôts fur le fel; mais ils étoient fi peu onéreux que le peuple s'en appercevoit à peine. Il a à Blois un Grenier à fel.
