Description
A black and white photograph of the Boody House Hotel on the corner of St. Clair Street and Madison Avenue in Toledo, Ohio. When the hotel opened in 1872, it had hot and cold running water and a fireplace in every room -- the epitome of luxury for the time. The building was demolished in 1928. The photo shows the hotel from the Madison Avenue side. The photo was taken by Charles F. Mensing around 1905. The photo is a glass plate negative.
