References Provenance: Original book made for Simon de Varie. It was divided in three parts by Philippe de Béthune (1561-1649). It came in the posession of the collector Ambroise Firmin-Didot. At the sale of his collection in 1882 it was bought by antiquarian bookseller Joseph Baer & Co in Frankfurt am Main from whom it was purchased by the KB in 1890.
