Description
English: Looking at the turf baseball and soccer field of Booker T. Washington Playground, next to Booker T. Washington Middle School (background) on 108th Street east of Amsterdam Avenue in the Upper West Side / Morningside Heights, Manhattan. The turf field was installed in 2006, replacing a typical Parks Department asphalt field. On a 90+ degree day like this, these fields are nightmares. The field is set to be resurfaced soon.
