The Ravi Varma Press Mumbai Bombay 1899 Lithograph Undivided back 12.30x8.80cm Postmarked 22 March 1905 in Bombay, and April 18 1905 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Addressed to “H. H. Rogers Esq. Konupa Makme-Kopunuka, Odessa South Russia-in-Europe." [Recto] “Magnificent station but far too big for requirements.” Today it is the busiest railway station in the world, carrying some 3 million passengers a day, more than the entire British Rail system. |
