Description
Français : Cette pierre est particulièrement douteuse, et a été détruite en 1893. Elle était localisée devant la porte de l'ancienne abbaye de la Règle.
Ceci est l'hypothèse de lecture, faite par Florian Vallentin en 1882, de la borne itinéraire de Limoges (CIL 17-02, 361). Son texte est repris et discuté par Emile Espérandieu en 1890.
On notera dans ce dernier ouvrage que, huit ans après Vallentin, Espérandieu (comme J. Arbellot avant lui) considérait plutôt ce milliaire comme anépigraphe, en dehors d'une lettre T possible, voire de deux, TI. Deux autre auteurs plus anciens n'avaient pu la déchiffrer : Charles-Nicolas Allou en 1821 (un P) et Pierre Beaumesnil au XVIIIe siècle (2e cahier [perdu], p. 35).
