Notes
  • Significance: It was built in the early 1800s by State Morris Dyckman the personal secretary to Lord Ersine. Designed in the Federal style, popular in the new country, the house was sited on a hill overlooking the Hudson River. Dyckman however died before the house was finished and his wife supervised the completion and furnishing. The house stayed in the Dyckman family until 1837 when granddaughter Eliza Letital Cornee married John Peach Cruger...
