Description
English: Botterham Staircase Top Lock, Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal There were two staircases on Brindley's route from Stourport to Great Haywood. The Bratch three were soon converted to a flight, and this staircase of two locks near Swindon remains. The picture shows the top chamber, full, looking towards Wombourne.
