English: Boundary fence and stone, Scammonden / Marsden This fence is now the boundary of National Trust land (the Marsden estate), and was formerly the boundary between the townships of Marsden-in-Huddersfield and Scammonden. The stone is one of a series of rather disappointing ones without an inscription. The boundary passes over Cupwith Hill, which is the one in the distance. |
