English: Breach in the Fan Hir Moraine The tiny Nant Tawe Fechan has breached the southern end of the impressive Fan Hir Moraine. The moraine (or is it a 'pronival/protalus rampart'?) is seen to be composed of assorted blocks of Old Red Sandstone - just like Fan Hir which is in shadow behind it. |
