The wall surrounding Bryn Aber, Cemlyn

Summary

edit
Description
English: Bryn Aber was the home at Cemlyn, Anglesey, of Captain Vivian Hewitt, who made the first crossing to Ireland by air in 1912. Captain Hewitt was an Ornithologist, and had the walls around his home built to protect the trees and shrubs from the salty sea spray and the keen east winds, thus providing suitable and safe habitat for nesting birds. The property is now apparently being developed as a modern residence also available for holiday lettings, and the wall has been breached during this work for access purposes.
