Description

This is the fateful day that the Bees needed to score from a penalty in the 90th minute to win promotion to the Championship for the first time in 20 years. Needless to say we argued about who was going to take it, made the wrong choice, missed the penalty and Doncaster broke away to score the only goal in the game and went up instead of of us. Heartbreaking at the time and even more so 3 weeks later when we lost the Play-Off final to Yeovil. It is only now 3 years later that we can laugh about it as we won promotion the following season and Yeovil and Doncaster were both relegated, Such is life and the supporting of Football teams.
