Mariquita («ladybug» in Spanish) is an auric cutter designed and built by the Scottish naval architect William Fife III in 1911. This classic yacht is rated 19M JI. It is the last of this category still sailing today and carries the distinctive sign of this category C 1 on its mainsail. Like many other Fife plan yachts, she sailed mainly in the Mediterranean where she participated in the various summer regattas, but her current home port is Brest, Brittany, France.

Here at the training in the bay of Brest on a rainy day in July 2023, the sailboat won in following August the first edition of the regatta «Brest Finistère Classic» between Brest and Douarnenez.
