Description
Deutsch: Grabmal für Carl I. Puricelli; Standort Bretzenheim, Friedhof der katholische Pfarrkirche Mariä Geburt in der Kirchstraße 20. Carl I. Puricelli, dessen Vorfahren vom Comer See einwanderten, heiratete Margarethe Utsch, Tochter von Friedrich Wilhelm Utsch (1732-1795), dem Besitzer der UTSCH HÜTT und legendären "Jägers aus Kurpfalz". Das Ehepaar Puricelli-Utsch stellten den Beginn der industriellen Tätigkeit der Familie Puricelli in der Nahe-Hunsrück-Region dar und bildeten die Grundlage des späteren Wohlstandes. Besonders die früh verwitwete Margarethe Utsch-Puriclli geborene Utsch wurde nach dem frühen Ableben ihres Mannes Carl I. Puricelli die sehr erfolgreiche Managerin der Rheinböllenhütte. Dank ihres Wirkens konnten sich ihre Kinder zu sehr vermögenden Unternehmern entwickeln. Ein gusseiserner Brunnentrog, ein Erzeugnis der Rheinböllenhütte, befindet sich in der Nähe dieses Grabmals.
