English: Ex-LB&SCR 0-6-2T at Bricklayer's Arms Locomotive Depot. The most numerous of Robert Billinton's several varieties of 0-6-2Ts were his E4 class, one of which has survived in preservation - on the Bluebell Railway, with its original name 'Birch Grove': No. 473 was built 8/1898 and withdrawn as 32473 in 10/62. Here it is on the turntable at Bricklayer's Arms Depot in 1959. |
