Description
English: Bridge across the disused railway cutting, Cranesmoor, New Forest. This bridge crosses a cutting that was dug for the "Castleman Corkscrew" line that took a winding route from Southampton to Dorchester (hence the name). This section is between Brockenhurst and Ringwood, and there is now a bog where the tracks once ran. The line was opened in June 1847 and was axed as part of the Beeching closures in the 1960s.
