Summary
editDescriptionBridge number 4 over the Stroudwater canal, Stonehouse - geograph.org.uk - 932201.jpg |
English: Bridge number 4 over the Stroudwater canal, Stonehouse The bridge was designed by James Ferrabee, so I read, and carried the Nailsworth to Stonehouse railway over the canal. I've also read that there were considerable engineering problems involved in the construction of the bridge. The line of the railway is now a cycle route. In the distance is the road bridge carrying the A419. |
