| Description |
English: Bridge over the Tamar Valley Line near Bere Ferrers. This remote bridge provides access to farmland on the Bere Peninsula. The railway is the former London and South Western Railway main line from Waterloo to Plymouth, now part of the scenic Tamar Valley Line that links Gunnislake and Bere Alston with Plymouth.
The picture was taken from an excursion train on 27 March 2007, and was the first steam-hauled service to travel on this line for over forty years. The train is heading north from Bere Ferrers Station towards Bere Alston. |
