English: Bridge pier and abutments. A dismantled bridge on the northwest outskirts of Galashiels that at one time carried the Waverley Railway Line over the Gala Water. Another bridge approximately 400m to the north near Torwoodlee Golf Course has also been dismantled 210836 and two new bridges will be required here if the proposed re-opening of the Waverley Line from Edinburgh to Tweedbank takes place. |
