English: Bridleway through the Tywi Forest, Powys The bridleway from Abergwesyn dropping here towards the Tywi river does not follow the course shown on the OS 1:50000 map on this page, though the Get-a-Map 1:25000 map is better.
When the bridleway was established there was no forest, no road in the valley, and no Llyn Brianne. The track must have served farmsteads in the valley at the time. |
