| Description |
English: Brighton Station Development This is on the site of the old Locomotive works constructed in 1852 and closed in 1957. Between 1957-64 Isetta Bubble Cars were constructed here from manufactured parts sent from Germany but the factory was not a success and was closed. The last buildings came down in 1969 and the whole site became a car park until 2003 when the New England Quarter development began. The station car park has now been moved to the left and become two-tiered whilst new developments are going up straight ahead and to the right. |
