Summary

edit
Description Britannia Buildings, Oxford Place, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Architect unknown; built by 1866. It was built next door to Mawer's domicile and architectural stone carving yard, and its carvings are similar in quality to the work of Mawer & Ingle. Charles Mawer later rented out offices in this building. So it is reasonable to assume that the carvings are indeed by Mawer & Ingle. Showing pillar and capital between window. The Town Hall is reflected in the windows.
