Description

Speedbird 283 from London Heathrow is about to land on 24L, which is normally a takeoff runway and rarely used for landings.

This aircraft was delivered new to British Airways in 1998. With most airlines, particularly those in Asia, retiring their 747s, British Airways has become the world's largest 747 operator, and even as 777s and A380s take over some of the 747's routes, British Airways plans on flying the 747 for another ten years.
