Description
English: BREL/GEC Class 91 25k V ac overhead 6,090hp Bo-Bo No.91 119 'Bounds Green Inter City Depot 1977-2017' of LNER in 'retro Inter City 225' livery at King's Cross on the 09.40 from Leeds, 29 October 2023.

The base colour is Silver White with a very wide band of very dark Falcon Grey below which is a narrow band of Rail Red (seperated from the Bergundy by a narrow band of Silver White). The Silver White bottom part of the locomotive does not extend all the way to the rear as there is a short band of Executive Light Grey intended to match the coaches. The roof is black.

The Executive Light Grey on the original BR livery was a very light greyish beige but on No.91 119 it is a much darker shade and more beige than grey. It does not match the coaches as intended!

I have always wondered why a combination of Silver White and Executive Light Grey was chosen by BR when the visual difference between the two colours is marginal - it is only if you look closely that you see the difference - except on No.91 119!
