Summary
editDescriptionBritish Trolleybuses - Bradford - geograph.org.uk - 552596.jpg |
English: British Trolleybuses - Bradford This is the delightfully named Prune Park Lane at its junction with Allerton Road; the trolleybus on route 16 has just commenced its journey towards the City Centre. Apart from improvements to the road junction, this view has changed very little since.
Bradford had the largest trolleybus network outside London; it was the first to open (concurrently with Leeds) and the last to close, in March 1972. For a slide show of British Trolleybuses in the late 60s https://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=1773236&displayclass=slide |
