English: Caption on mount: Br. Ship Peter Iredale, Capt. Henry Lawrence . In 1906, she went ashore in a storm about a mile and a half south of the Columbia River entrance. Captain and crew were rescued. She was broke in two, and parts of her were sold, but the hull was left on the beach (p. 126). Her remains are still visible today at Fort Stevens State Park in Oregon.
