| Description |
English: Broad Street, Oxford Showing the eastern end of Broad Street; the road straight ahead is Holywell Street. The building to the right is the former Indian Institute, opened in 1886 as a centre for training Indian civil servants. It was designed by Sir Basil Champneys who incorporated a number of oriental touches. Since 1968 the building has been home to the history faculty. |
