Entièrement fondue à la cire perdue, en une seule pièce (épaisseur inférieure à 10 mm et allant parfois jusqu'à 2 mm !). Peut-être d'origine insulaire (Sud-Est asiatique [ou Sri Lanka (Anne-Valérie Schweyer, 2018 ISBN 978-616-7339-99-3, p. 73]), intégrant plusieurs traditions (avec de très grandes hésitations : Sri Lanka (6e-7e et Amaravati (2e-4e siècles ...?), mais ayant été retouchée (sourcils, iris et pupille) en pays cham, après le 8e siècle. |
