Summary edit
DescriptionBronze knife handle. Shisanhang.SSH Museum. Taipei County.JPG |
English: Bronze knife handle. Shisanhang Site, circa 1500 years ago. Shisanhang Museum of Archaeology. Bali, New Taipei City. "A total of 11 bronze knife handles were unearthed at the site. The knife were made of iron, but because iron rusts more easily than bronze all that remains is the handle. All 11 are in shape of standing humans, surrounded by spots, lines or holes, which infuses a strong sense of mystery. At present there is no way to ascertain the source of these bronze handles, however similar artifacts have been passed by the ancestors of the Paiwan in southern Taiwan." (From the museum, in march 2017)
Français : Poignée de couteau en bronze. Shisanhang Site, il y a environ 1500 ans. Musée d'archéologie de Shisanhang. Bali, New Taipei City.
