Bronze Square Zun Vessel
Mid-Western Zhou Dynasty (Mid-10th to Mid-9th Century BC)
Excavated from Licun village, Meixian County
108 characters is cast inside the bottom of the ware, documenting King of Western Zhou bestowed on Li the title of higher military officer commanding six and eight divisions and equivalent garments. They are very important evidences for the study of politics and military systerms of the Western Zhou Dynasty.

器內底鑄銘文108字。大意是西周中期某年八月初吉這一天，穆公引導盠在周廟接受周王的册命，周王命盠掌管三有司，兼管周王朝軍隊，並賜與命服等。是研究西周政治軍事制度的重要資料。
