English: Close-up of exterior of bottom of corolla tube and part of corolla limb of Brugmansia sanguinea ( Ruiz & Pav. ) D. Don., showing the characteristic robust, hairy, yellowish-green veins that give the flowers of B. sanguinea greater structural strength than than those of other Brugmansia species.

Plant a small, container-grown specimen in a cool glasshouse in London's Chelsea Physic Garden. Flower not perfect : small tears or lesions present and one of floral peaks missing, due possibly to chewing insect or mollusc damage.
