DescriptionBrumaire-Leaves beneath a fuzzy-misty beech-wood on the formerly grounds of Semnonia (9th November 2011) (6330233720).jpg |
The misty beech-wood is lying in the former times happy hunting-grounds of our ancient stoneage, which became cradle of the european neolithicum and home of the millenarian Semnonia (~ 900 BC until ~100 AD). The german fascists misused those historic sagas for their ideology ('Tausendjähriges Reich', 'Berlin = Germania', etc.) ... Pliny says that Topazos is a legendary island in the Red Sea and the mineral "topaz" was first mined there. The word topaz might be related to the Arabic word توباز which meant "the subject of the search" or Sanskrit word तपस् "tapas" meaning "heat" or "fire."
