(Exposition: musée Guimet 2005-2006), La sculpture du Champa : Trésors d'art du Vietnam Ve-XVe siècles, Paris, Réunion des musées nationaux : Musée Guimet, 2005, XXVII-373 p., 28 cm , ISBN 2-7118-4898-1, p. 206-209. : La plus grande image en bronze fondue à la cire perdue, jamais retrouvée en Asie du Sud-Est. Entièrement fondue à la cire perdue, en une seule pièce (épaisseur inférieure à 10 mm et allant parfois jusqu'à 2 mm !). Peut-être d'origine insulaire (Sud-Est asiatique), intégrant plusieurs traditions (avec de très grandes hésitations : Sri Lanka (6e-7e et Amaravati (2e-4e siècles ...?), mais ayant été retouchée (sourcils, iris et pupille) en pays cham, après le 8e siècle. |
