Summary edit
DescriptionBuffalo Springfield Steam Roller (16310531789).jpg | Across the tracks from the railway station of yesterday is a collection of old equipment that is part of the Bickford Collection named after a resident of Yarmouth who collected and restored many of these. This is a 1920's era steam powered roller. There is a sign on this roller that requires that the ashes be cleaned out each day. The chain is part of a simple steering mechanism . I took this through a fence; I will go back when the snow is gone and the grass is green. There are many other interesting vehicles on display. I also put up a photo of a "doodlebug". Also the name of a pop group back in the day. |
