English: Builth Road low level railway station (site), Powys Opened in 1864 by the Mid Wales Railway, later part of the Cambrian Railway, on the line from Newtown to Brecon, this station closed in 1962. View south east towards Builth Wells and Brecon, from the site of the southbound platform, with the northbound platform site being to the right of the image. Immediately behind the camera position, at a higher level, is the remaining platform of the High Level station on the Central Wales line, which crosses over here. |
