For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Keine Eisenbahnunglücke mehr! Eine neuartige Zugsicherung an D-Zug-Lokomotiven. Diese Vorrichtung soll das Überfahren des Haupt-Signals unmöglich machen. Bei Überfahren des Haupt-Signals wird eine an dem Tender der D-Zug Lokomotive angebrachte elektro-magnetische Bremsvorrichtung ausgelöst und bringt den D-Zug sofort zum Stehen. Der Vorgang ist eine Übertragung elektro-magnetischer Kräfte vom Haltesignal auf die Lokomotive und deren Zug-Bremse. Die elektro-magnetische Bremsvorrichtung unter dem Tender der D-Zug Lokomotive, welche beim Überfahren des Haupt-Signals durch elektromagnetische Kräfte angezogen wird und die Bremsvorrichtung selbstständig auslöst.
