Inscriptions Der unter den beiden Porträts abgebildete Text in ursprünglicher Deutscher Einheitskurzschrift lautet wie folgt: Stenografie ist die durch äußerste Verkürzung der Buchstabzeichen erreichte Schrift, die die schnellste und sparsamste Bewältigung aller Schreibarbeiten ermöglicht und in ihrer Höchststufe dazu befähigt, jede frei gesprochene Rede in ihrem vollen Wortlaut aufzuzeichnen.
