Die Teezubereitung in Japan wird heute noch nach altüberlieferter Tradition vorgenommen. Die Aufnahmen zeigen die feierliche Stimmung einer Tee-Zeremonie beim "5 Uhr-Tee" in Japan.

Japanerinnen in hockender Stellung erwarten die Zubereitung des Tees. Als besondere Höflichkeit wird es angesehen, dass man während der Zubereitung des Tees die Schönheit der Teeservice lobt, da das Porzellan meist alter Herkunft ist.
