Zu ihrer 21. Plenarsitzung trat die Volkskammer der DDR am 27. September zusammen. Auf der Tagesordnung stand unter anderem das vom Ministerrat der Volkskammer zugeleitete Gesetz über den Mutter- und Kinderschutz und die Recht der Frau.
