For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Basedow, Sitzung eines Friedensgruppe Aktives Friedenskomitee in Basedow, Kr. Malchin. Auf dem ehemaligen Großgrundbesitz Basedow sind bereits heute die Friedenshektarerträge erreicht und in der Viehablieferung überschritten. Das Dorffriedenskomitee umfasst 30 Mitglieder. Es hat den Dorfplatz in "Platz des Friedens" benannt, ein Friedensbuch angelegt und zwei Friedenskämpfern aus Westdeutschland einen vierwöchtenlichen Erholungsurlaub angeboten. Neben diesem Friedensplan ist auch der Dorfwirtschaftsplan in vorbildlicher Weise durchgeführt worden. UBz: Im Mittelpunkt aller Diskussionen des Ortsfriedens-Komitees steht die Forderung nach einem gesamtdeutschen konstituierenden Rat. Vorsitzender des Friedenskomitees ist Neubauer Kurt Kallweit.
