For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Langenweddingen, Winterfortbildung im Kulturhaus Illus Rösener 12.1.1951 Winterarbeit auf der MAS Langenweddingen bei Magdeburg. Auf den Maschinenausleihstationen der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik werden neben den Winterarbeiten un der Schulung der Traktoristen bereits Vorkehrungen für die Frühjahrsbestellung getroffen. Die Traktoristen der MAS Langenweddingen im Bezirk Magdeburg sind eifrig dabei, ihre Traktoren für den Einsatz zu überprüfen und sich theoretisch und praktisch zu schulen. Außerdem entfalten sie eine rege Kulturarbeit im Dorfe. UBz: Im Kulturhaus der MAS erhalten diese jungen Landarbeiterinnen von Berufsschullehrern Fachunterricht.
