For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berlin, Petrikirche, Ruine Illus Richter 2.5.51 Berlins Denkmalskirchen werden wieder aufgebaut. Der demokratische Magistrat von Groß-Berlin hat für 1951 größere Beträge für die Wiedererrichtung der durch anglo-amerikanische Bomben zerstörten Kirchen bereitgestellt. UBz: An der Petrikirche am Köllnischen Fischmarkt sind Sicherungsarbeiten geplant. Einsturzgefährdete Turmteile werden abgetragen und die Schließung von Einschußlöchern ist schon im Gange.
