For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Biscan Me-Be. 8.8.1952 Auf dem Wege zu Höchstleistungen mit den sowjetischen Mähdreschern. Seit einer Woche arbeiten auf den Feldern der DDR einige Dutzend der modernsten sowjetischen Erntemaschinen. Einzelne Mähdrescherführer erreichten schon in den ersten Tagen gute Ernteresultate, obgleich sie zum ersten Mal mit diesen komplizierten Maschinen arbeiten. Die Bauern sind begeistert über die ausgezeichnete Arbeit der sowjetischen Mähdrescher. UBz.: Mit Freude mustert der Traktorist Karl Swiedik von der MAS Egeln, der auf einem Feld des Volksgutes Großgermersleben arbeitet, das ihm zum Abfuhr anvertraute Korn. Er ist glücklich, daß er mit den modernsten und leistungsfähigsten Maschinen der Welt helfen kann, den Sozialismus zu erbauen. |
