For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Gielow Zi-Zu. 15.10.1952 Eine Glocke des Friedens und der Freundschaft die ihren endgültigen Standort an der Oder-Neisse-Friedensgrenze in Frankfurt erhalten soll, wurde am 15. Oktober 1952 auf dem Platz am Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse feierlich eingeläutet. Die Glocke wurde von der CDU zu Ehren ihres Parteitages gestiftet.
UBz: Es spricht der Vorsitzende der CDU Otto Nuschke.
