For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Eisenhüttenstadt, Ladenstraße, Telefonzelle Zentralbild Krueger 25.3.1953 Stalinstadt - die erste sozialistische Stadt Deutschlands. Auf Beschluss des Zentralkomitees der Sozialistischen Einheitspartei Deutschlands wird zu Ehren und zum Ruhm J.W. Stalins die Wohnstadt des Eisenhüttenkombinat Ost bei Fürstenber "Stalinstadt" benannt werden. UBz: Blick auf eine neue Straße mit BVrkaufsläden, die nach den Erfordernissen der sozialistischen Verkaufskultur eingerichtet wurden, rechts im Bild die erste Telefonzelle der junge Stadt.
