For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Historische Berliner Kirchen werden wieder aufgebaut.

Laut Beschluss des demokratischen Magistrats werden in diesem Jahr an den im demokratischen Sektor unter Denkmalschutz stehenden Kirchen zahlreiche Reparaturarbeiten vorgenommen. Die St.Hedwigs-Kathedrale soll eine neue Kuppel erhalten, auch die Elisabeth-Kirche wird restauriert werden. An der Parochial-Kirche wird bereits gearbeitet und die Arbeiten die die Friedrich-Werdersche Kirche vor dem Verfall schützen sollen, sind bereits abgeschlossen.
