For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Lehmann-6.1.82-da-Bez. Halle: Neue Chloranlage bereit für Dauerbetrieb-In der modernen Anlage des Chemiekombinates Bittefeld werden durch hohe Veredelung des einheimischen Steinsalzes wichtige Grundstoffe für den größten Teil der rund 4 000 Erzeugnisse des Kombinates produziert, so Natronlauge und Waschmittel, Zellwolle und Kunstseide, und Chlor für Plaste und Elaste. Das Steinsalz gelangt durch eine Sole-Pipeline aus dem Bernburger Raum nach Bitterfeld. Diese Technologie wird in der DDR für die Chlorproduktion erstmalig angewandt. Dadurch können rund 10000 Waggons eingespart werden. Gleichzeitig verbessern sich die Arbeitsbedingungen der Chemiearbeiter beträchtlich. |
