For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leuna, Rechnerraum für Umweltmessdaten ADN-ZB Lehmann 30.6.1983 Halle: Ein umfassendes Umweltschutzmeßnetz, das sowohl Luft-. Wasser- und auch meteorologische Werte erfaßt, wird seit Jahresbeginn im Chemiekombinat Leuna erprobt. Im Rechnerraum werden Daten von 26 Meßstationen aufgezeichnet. Das Nez mit den modernen Meßmethoden wurde von Leuna-Spezialisten, Wissenschaftlern der Ingenieurhochschule Köthen und dem Forschungszentrum für Werkzeugmaschinenbau Karl-Marx-Stadt sowie Partnern aus der UdSSR, Polen, Ungarn und Bulgarien gemeinsam entwickelt. - siehe auch 1983-0630-2N
